Last day to submit!

Reader submissions for our August/September issue are due by midnight Mountain time tomorrow. Here's what we're looking for, if you need a refresher. And yes, you can submit via our own DigitalScrapbooking.com submissions page now!

Looks like we still have a few questions about subscriptions. To recap: magazines left the printer on the 21st and are now being mailed. You should see yours in your mailbox sometime in the next few weeks--let us know if you've not seen it by March 20 or so. (It should arrive well before that!)

Molly - is there a customer services email address I can use to find out if my charter sub (which I submitted in November) was accepted. I am still getting an account not found message and the 1-800 number is not very useful to me because I am not in States (and don't want a big toll bill). Sorry to contact you this way - I can't find contact details on the website.

Yay! I'm so glad to hear the issues are getting safely to your hands!

If you want additional copies, you can look for them at your bookstore (we've had a couple of confirmed sightings, though they may not be at all stores yet). I'm not seeing them for sale at at the Simple Scrapbooks online store, but I'll check on that for you and let you know.

I'm thrilled to hear you're happy with your issue, Miss Jenn... and we're just getting started here.

I would LOVE to be happy with my issue!!!!

I signed up when the 11.99 subscription went up, I've paid and it's available in regular stores before I even get it in the mail as a paid subscriber?

It just doesn't seem right that the general public gets to buy it before a subscriber ever gets it! :-(

Waaaaaah!! I'll just keep stalking my mailman.... Hahahahahahaha! :-)

Hi:

I subscribed to Digital Scrapbooking Magazine (online) version. I was told that my subscription would be honored by the new "Digital Scrapbooking". I have not received any notification. How do I go about receiving a refund or a continuation of my paid subscription with Digital Scrapbooking? Can you please post a phone number and or an email for your accounting department?
Thanks

I am, too, somewhat aggravated that I went out to my local grocery store and purchased it BEFORE mine has come in the mail. I guess I'll just have two copies...HOWEVER, I am in love with the magazine! I have read EVERY word...I'm still not to the end! Keep the good stuff comin'!

I just thought you would like to know about dealing with your subscription department. I am a charter subscriber. I have been eagerly watching my mailbox for months waiting for my first subscription. My mother-in-law ordered the magazine for me as a gift in December. I had not received my subscription so I looked online and have found that first of all, it said my subscription is withheld until I pay (I could not pay online and have not received a bill in the mail). Second of all, I found that my address is incorrect. when I called them to get the address corrected, they said my first issue was not going to start until April/May anyway. Online it says I ordered the magazine in January but I KNOW she ordered it in December. Also, we have corrected my address but they told me they will not send me the original magazine that I first missed. I am VERY unhappy. I want my original magazine and it would be nice if the subscriptions department were easier to work with.

Well, it is the 23rd of March and I still have NOT received the magazine that I was told I would receive in February and then by March 20th! I have received an e-mail telling me I could pay the bill for my subscription and I received a bill in the mail - yet they have a problem getting the magazine to me. What kind of business is that??? I can not emphasize enough how gravely disappointed I am in this magazine. These are the people who bring you Creating Keepsakes and Simple Scrapbooks magazines, so this is not a new process to them. In addition, I took a look at the magazine in the store (which you can find on any store magazine rack - just not in your mailbox) and I am THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTED with the magazine. The first thing I noticed when I picked it up was how skimpy the magazine was, so I turned to the back to see that it has a mere 115 pages, while most other scrapbooking magazines have about 150 pages. I turned to the first page and flipped through about 15 pages and saw NOTHING BUT ADVERTISEMENT! One after the other on page after page and this doesn't include the ones throughout the rest of the magazine! So the premiere issue appears to be a skimpy magazine full of ads. I'm in complete agreement with a previous writer - Digital Scrapbooking you can expect to receive the bill back, because I'm not interested in this kind of garbage. Your customer service is the worse I've ever seen and I'm not interested in receiving a flier each month full of advertisements. I get Pennysaver for free!!!

I have just written to customer service telling them to cancel my subscription, I'm not even going to waste my saliva to send back the bill marked cancel. It's March 23rd, and despite being reassured I would receive my magazine "by" the 23rd, guess what I don't have. Combined with the lousy feedback I'm hearing from experienced digital scrapbookers, I don't imagine I'll even support this operation by purchasing it locally. There are way too many free sites for the same information in a much more timely fashion without lying customer service agents.

(Oh, I forgot to add, I also find it telling that the only comment the magazine staff has responded to is the one asking about how to purchase additional copies.)

It's the 24th and as it's Sunday it won't come today either. I paid for my subscription, exactly why do I have to wait OVER a month after it hits the stores to receive it? I would of gladly paid full price to have the darn magazine. I will probably not purchase another magazine from this company.

Sorry to contact you this way, can't find a private e-mail to do it that way.

I downloaded Renee's templates on both my mac at work and on pc at home, and the zip file is giving me "bad sector" errors when I try to unpack it. I haven't been able to unpack it to use any of the files.

Thought you'd like to know.

Also, I'll add that I'm still waiting for my "first" issue. As of March 24...no issue in Mo. I finally bought it because I'd been waiting for so long...couldn't wait any longer tee hee.

I just wrote a nasty note to customer service because I STILL haven't gotten the magazine. They apologized and said they would send one out and I'd receive it in 2 TO 3 WEEKS!!! Sorry. I'm not paying for it. I'm disgusted by the lack of service. Not worth it.

Molly, what happened to your post about international subscriptions? It seems to have been removed. Any word on how the magazine might seek to reconcile disgruntled non-US scrapbookers?

Hi! I just submitted a layout for the numbers call (or for a general submission). Just wondering if I will receive notification that it was actually received. I'm always afraid that things will get lost in "cyberspace".
Thanks,
