Blog Giveaway! Mini Albums in an Evening

Mini is big! Cute little albums, from pinky-size to palm-size, are a fun, creative and FAST way to share your memories. And Simple Scrapbooks' new special issue, Mini Albums in an Evening, offers 58 ways to do just that. It's got projects for travel, holidays, baby, pets, school... you name it, there's an idea here for scrapbooking it.

Because the book's focus is on techniques and shortcuts, not specific products, it's easy to adapt any of these ideas to work with digital tools. Check out Candice Palmer's album that packs details of eight birthday celebrations into a single book. Or follow Angie Lucas' lead and create a coffee table-worthy celebration of the people you love with odds and ends left over from other projects.

I got a copy of this issue in the mail last week and I'm already inspired... so inspired I might even sit down and scrapbook! (Shhh! Don't tell anyone!) Plus, I've got TWO additional copies to share with Digital Scrapbooking readers. Just leave a comment on this post with your name and a comment telling what you'd like to scrap in a mini-album, and I'll randomly select two names as winners. Get your entry in no later than midnight Pacific time on Tuesday, August 5 for consideration.

Find out more about Mini Albums in an Evening or order a copy today at Simple Scrapbooks' online shop. Good luck, and happy scrapping!

I need to scrapbook our move to Belgium in 2005. . a mini album would be perfect for that. We're home in the US, now, and I need to get that done before I forget any more details!

I am a scrap virgin. The entire enterprise scares me. But this I think I might be able to manage. We just returned from a vacation to CA with my mother-in-law. She walked around the island with my daughter and husband, showing her where she lived as a child. The 3-out-of-4 generations on the island thing was pretty cool, and making a mini album seems doable. So pick me, please!

I'd love to make (my first) mini-album. I'd use it to celebrate and commemorate my daughter's entry into Kindergarten . . . getting her glasses, shopping for clothes, the big day itself.

I'm no scrapbooker but I would love ideas to help me put some of my very favorite photos together. A mini album sounds so manageable.

Ok, so technically I've never made a scrapbook. Yet. I'm thinking about it. Really. I've even got a whole (seperated) pile/file of stuff for my first one. However, I'm still not sure what size to make it. Big? Little? Oh, the content? Either "The Remaking of Azalea Lane" or cats. Cats might be easier to make in a mini form, which could then inspire me to get going on the Azalea Lane book.

i've heard alot about this fab book! i love the idea that i might actually get a whole project done in an evening...even though i am the co-president of the slowest scrapper society! LOL!!

since we didn't have a chance to take a dream travel vacation this year, we've really embraced the {stay}cation concept. i'd love to do a mini album about all our adventures we've had this summer right here in our own town and in our backyard. i'm sure the album will sit proudly next to any 'dream vacation' we might have taken in the past, no doubt!

take care!
