Dazzle with Zazzle Challenge

Dazzle us with your Zazzle shoe designs and win a free pair of custom Keds!

For this Zazzle Digital Scrapbooking Day Challenge we’re inviting you to design your own pair of custom Keds at zazzle.com! A variety of styles are available and you can use any JPG image you like on the shoes.

How to enter:

•Go to Zazzle.com, create an account and pick a pair of Keds to customize.

•Then simply upload your images and start creating! When you’ve completed your shoe design, click View Pair at the top of the page in Zazzle.

•Next, do a screen capture of your pair of shoes. To do this on a PC, press the Print Screen button. Then paste the screen capture in a new document in your photo-editing software and save it as a JPG. On a Mac, press Command + Shift + 3 and the screenshot will be automatically saved to your desktop. Rename it and save it as a JPG at 72 dpi.

•Post the image of your shoes in the Digital Scrapbooking Day gallery (http://www.creatingkeepsakes.com/component/option,com_groupjive/task,showgroup/groupid,681/Itemid,68/). Shoes posted in places other than this group cannot be considered.

•The title of your project should begin with the word “Zazzle” so we can find it quickly in this alphabetized gallery.

•Please include a materials list with your shoes when posting it to the gallery that includes names of all products and fonts. Include kit titles, designer names and the web site that sells the product (if applicable) when you post your layout. Designs should be original and should not include designs already on the Zazzle site.

Enter as many times as you like.

Prizes and Dates of Contest

Two winners will be chosen and each will receive a pair of Zazzle shoes sporting they’re dazzling designs.

Entries are due by Sunday, November 9 and winners will be announced by Friday, November 14.

This is a great idea and just the thing to enter that my zazzler friends and I would love to enter. Truthfully, since opening my shop in August, I am worn out and running a dry spell on new designs. Perhaps this will encourage me but my best are already in my shop.

I am a natural born promoter and have already featured your link to post in twitter and Zazzle Pulse. Hope it brings lots of entries your way.

Visit my shop at http://www.zazzle.com/tikitoon* and see all my shoes from start to finish then leave any comments. :)

I love this contest. I only with I could upload to the CK gallery. I've tried all day, but it just won't take any of my files, even ones that are sized at only 100 KB.

I've sent an email to webmaster@ckmedia.com and hopefully they will rectify this situation. I read the forums, and I am not the only one having upload problems.

Is there an alternative gallery? What if I'm still unable to upload on Nov. 9?

I sent an email to the webmaster and got a prompt reply. Here it is below:

Thank you for your inquiry into the new site. Creating Keepsakes, Paper Crafts, Simple Scrapbooks, and Digital Scrapbooking are all now part of the Creating Keepsakes.com community for scrapbookers and paper crafters. All of the content that you are familiar with is still available, but we have enhanced many of the features to make your experience more enjoyable.

I am sorry to hear of your difficulty with uploading.

In order to troubleshoot, I will need you to answer the following questions:

1. What exactly happens when you attempt to upload images?
2. Which Web Browser are you using?
3. Have you tried this in another Browser? (If you are able to, I advise that you try)
4. Have you cleared your Cache and Cookies recently? (If not, please attempt this.)

This will help isolate the issue.

Thank you,

Webmaster

I use IE for all of my image uploading, but for some reason I can't upload to CK using IE. I did what was suggested and tried another browser. I downloaded Mozilla Firefox and was instantly able to upload to CK.

So, my suggestion is try Firefox for CK site uploading.

off to design another zazzle shoe!
