So... what do you think?

New site's up, and we've even had a couple of magazine spottings. Can't wait to hear what you, Dear Reader, think of it all.

(Will it prejudice your opinion if I tell you my husband spent a good half-hour this morning poring over the magazine and pointing out his favorite layouts?)

Is it bad to stalk the mailman? Come magazine come!

I'm the same way!!! I run to the mailbox everyday when I get home from work hoping it will be there. Hopefully my long, agonizing wait will be over tomorrow. I LOVE the website! I particularly like the tutorials...I've read them all. More, please! :) Keep up all the wonderful work. It's the first website I look at when I sit down at the computer. So refreshing!

Bravo to your excellent husband!

And I think it's less stalking the mailman, and more like an expectant audience, ready to applaud when the curtain rises. At least that's what I'm going to tell the police!

;o)

Love the website, and I'm stalking the mailman too ;)... might still have to wait awhile though as I'm in OZ... please not too long!

Love the new web site - I'm still browsing around to get used to it, but it's great so far! Still waiting on the magazine to arrive. Like the others I check the mail everyday with anticipation. The main office said it would be the end of March before I got it. I REALLLLYYY hope it doesn't take that long!!! That would be a HUGE discouragement knowing that it's already being mailed out and it would take a month to get to me.

Well, I'm also a fan, right? (even though I'm on the team???) ha ha!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.. just got it today, Monday, and I live in Alaska.. where the mailman wears spikes under his shoes so he does not slip and fall, not making it to my house!! ha ha!

EVERYONE DID AN AMAZING JOB.. I STILL HAVE NOT STOPPED GAWKING AT IT!! (hmm, which one is your hubby's fave? ha ha!)

No magazine here yet either. And I can't seem to get an answer from anyone about the gift subscription I ordered...getting a little frustrated here.

I made a submission to your call through your website. Am I suppose to get a confirmation email? I didn't, so maybe your mailbox is full?

I'm confused. I thought they were sending the magazine out as soon as it was published. Then I read it would take 4-6 weeks to process your subscription. It's been 2 weeks since I subscribed. Anyone know what's going on?

Will this magazine be on the news stands?? I did subscribe this week but don't know if I can wait that long to receive my first issue!

Will there be a Gallery on the website that we can submit to?

I would also like to know when the magazine is supposed to be coming. I subscribed long ago. And my understanding was that it was supposed to arrive the week of Feb 19-23. Is it going to be on newstands???

Subscribed in January, checked my account and paid in Feb, still waiting for my magazine. (not waiting patiently :-))

I'm stalking the mailman too. Some day soon it will come and I'll be in heaven! Hopefully it will be one of the days I'm taking off work this week :)

I would like to point to to this thread. http://digishoptalk.com/boards/showthread.php?t=38819

Digiscrapshop is the hub of the digital scrapbooking community - the current base of your subscribers and there are many questions that need answering regarding charter subscriptions. It might be worth a simple explanation on behalf of the magazine.

I subscribed to the magizine in December. I was sooooo excited! But now I just feel annoyed! Reading the comments left on these blogs is the only way I get any info on whether or not people are getting their magazines!

I too was confused about the whole process. It would have been great to get an e-mail conformation once you subscibed to the magazine. Then to go on the web site and see that my account had been suspended was scary. (But hey, at least there was some proof that my request for a subscription went through.) There should have been some clarification there! I have running out to the mailbox since Feb 22 looking for the magazine.

While I understand that starting a magazine is a huge deal, customer service should still be a top priority. It seems like the ball really got dropped there!

I did see a copy of the magazine at the craft store today. I almost picked it up, but I thought for sure that my copy would be in the mailbox when I got home.........checked the mail...STILL NO MAGAZINE!!!!!

I gotta say i am with many of the girls here... I fully expected to see my mag by now, and nothing... But of course i did get the bill (insert rolling eyes smiley here).

its quite annoying that i can goto wal-mart and pick up a copy, yet i am still waiting for my charter subscription copy. What's worse is i know there are at least 2 people overseas who have already got it... So where are our Magazines exactly??

WOW!!! So I am not the only one wondering whats going on here! But unlike the others, I was so frustrated in waiting for my charter copy, I DID buy one from the bookstore. Customer service leaves much to be desired! I have submitted a couple of questions thru the customer service page in my account and have received no reply to date. And WHY are there no new postings on the Reader Gallery? Those are the same ones from the beginning and I'm sure, along with myself, others have submitted pages to be posted. Maybe mine are not good enough? Which would be fine if I saw other new ones posted. Oh well...

I emailed and received a response (at least that's something, I suppose) from customer service that my subscription - charter subscription, that is - would arrive the week of March 23. Gee, a full month after the stores have it? Yay for me. But, of course, the BILL they could get shipped out right away. I don't care how nice the magazine is when or if it arrives, I am sending back the bill and asking to have my subscription canceled. I've just lost any faith in the company's ability to fulfill orders.

Now that I (at last) have my magazine, just arrived the 19th to AZ, I am very pleased.
I have one problem, and forgive me, I can't seem to find any answers on the website, nor where to send questions:
I downloaded Renee's simple scheme templates, but I don't know how to use them! I found the pdf file on the site about using digital templates, but it only tells me that most layered templates come with instructions, which these do not. I don't know how to do this mysterious "clipping" yet; could we get some instructions up on the website somewhere?
I'm very pleased otherwise.

Well, it is the 23rd of March and I still have NOT received the magazine that I was told I would receive in February and then by March 20th! I have received an e-mail telling me I could pay the bill for my subscription and I received a bill in the mail - yet they have a problem getting the magazine to me. What kind of business is that??? I can not emphasize enough how gravely disappointed I am in this magazine. These are the people who bring you Creating Keepsakes and Simple Scrapbooks magazines, so this is not a new process to them. In addition, I took a look at the magazine in the store (which you can find on any store magazine rack - just not in your mailbox) and I am THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTED with the magazine. The first thing I noticed when I picked it up was how skimpy the magazine was, so I turned to the back to see that it has a mere 115 pages, while most other scrapbooking magazines have about 150 pages. I turned to the first page and flipped through about 15 pages and saw NOTHING BUT ADVERTISEMENT!. One after the other on page after page and this doesn't include the ones throughout the rest of the magazine! So the premiere issue appears to be a skimpy magazine full of ads. I'm in complete agreement with a previous writer - Digital Scrapbooking you can expect to receive the bill back, because I'm not interested in this kind of garbage. Your customer service is the worse I've ever seen and I'm not interested in receiving a flier each month full of advertisements. I get Pennysaver for free!!!

I have to say I agree. This is a shoddy way to run a business. I still have not received my issue either. And unlike others I actually already paid my bill HOW STUPID WAS THAT? I am not happy at all. I purchase just about every one of their magazines as soon as they hit the stands. I will NOT being doing that again.
